What is CSS?
CSS is a humanitarian and socio-economic development organization working in Bangladesh since 1972.
At its core, CSS creates much needed employment and livelihood opportunities in multi-sectors such as: primary and secondary health care, formal and non-formal education, technical and vocational education, micro enterprise development, women empowerment and gender equality, water and sanitation, child care homes and orphanages.
Our opportunity today is to come alongside CSS to determine and financially solve the immediate needs in the CSS primary and secondary health care initiatives.
Need:
Transporting remote patients is our next priority.
Critical bus services are needed to transport people in extremely remote areas to the CSS hospital for checkups and medical care. Our current bus needs constant repair and many times doesn’t run at all—leaving those seeking medical attention without a way to the CSS Hospital.
Solution:
Fortunately, we have found a local bus builder in Kuhlna where we can make this critical purchase.

As for all hospitals, power is a mandatory and a life safety issue. The CSS Hospital currently has 2 generators for back up. Both run poorly. CSS recently had a solar company conduct a study to determine the solar panel system needed to replace the faulty generators.
